Our family had a wonderful visit to Bodega Bay, California in the Fall of 2020. We had the most special rendezvous with some of our extended family there, who had recently purchased a travel trailer. We met up for the weekend in Bodega Bay, where we had some fun BBQ-ing, hiking in the mist, exploring the beach, racing remote-controlled cars at the RV park, and just being together. During our time in Bodega Bay, we stayed at the Bodega Bay RV Park, which we would not recommend despite its amazing location and proximity to the beach. The owners of this park were extremely particular, and not especially fond of children. If you would like more information on our experience there, please do not hesitate to reach out. That being said, do not let this dissuade you from a visit to Bodega Bay, a gem of a destination.
On our second day in Bodega Bay, we enjoyed hiking the Bodega Head Trail. This trail is a wonderful hike along the cliffs of the bay, with fantastic views all around. If you visit Bodega Bay, do not forget to bring layers, as the weather can be cold and can change frequently and quickly.
